The unit was well packaged, shipped quickly and arrived in good shape. The ad says the max output is 14.8 volts and shows pictures of the one with the output voltage maxed out at 14.98 volts. The specific I unit received maxed out at 14.15 volts and was preset to 13.8 volts as the ad stated. Overall the unit seems to be reasonably good quality and produces enough amps for my 20watt radio to produce full output. Would I buy another, probably not for $50.

Fast shipping. The unit is vented welland has a fan. That's great! Took it out of the package and hooked in the AC cord. Plugged it in and turned it on. My volt meters said 13.93 volts with no load. The real test is when I put it in service with the Kenwood radio that draws 14 amps on TX in a couple weeks. If it works as good as it looks then it will be an unbelievable deal. Thanks.
