Nice Watches at Nice Prices
Smith and Wesson has a long history in the firearm industry. I first was introduced to their watches in 2006 when I bought a "Basic Duty" watch from them. Since then, I've owned about five Smith and Wesson watches ranging in prices from 30 dollars to about 150 dollars and really enjoyed them all. Amongst these watches was the "Field Watch". The minimal face with easy to read numbers make it great watch to quickly glance at and get the time. There is no date unfortunately, and the lume is poor which is expected at this price point. However, the watch has survived being dropped onto concrete, slathered in sand and has been with me swimming in salt water more times then I can count and it survived it all. The fit and finish of their watches are also quite nice, and the Field Watch is ... Smith and Wesson has a long history in the firearm industry. I used some fine grit sandpaper on the back side (that touches the skin) and on the sides very gently to smoothen the band which worked like a charm. I'd highly recommend Smith and Wesson to anyone looking for a dependable watch that won't break the bank.
