Amazing rod! Lightweight and powerful!
The cosmetics on this rod are wonderful. I like the grip design and the overall color of the rod. I use this rod for frogs and I am extremely pleased with its performance so far. This rod has already caught me several quality 2 to 3 pound fish out of thick Florida cover. In my opinion, this rod is perfect for what it is designed for. This rod has plenty of backbone to haul fish out of thick grass and the perfect amount of tip for working the frog over grass or walking the bait out in the open. The tip on this rod also allows for an extra split second for the fish to inhale the bait before you set the hook. Using a 1/2 oz frog, most of the fish I caught using this rod had the bait in the back of their throat and both hooks were embedded into the roof of the fish's mouth. The right amount of ... Great rod!
I bought this rod to use around lily pads, matted vegetation and heavy cover. It is super light but very strong. It's made for use with braided line also. The guide inserts handle braid great. Ive been throwing swim jigs and chatter baits on it and I'm very pleased with the way it handles. I liked it so well I bought a second one.

Great rod if you're only going to bomb your casts out there, but it needs more tip to be accurate around timber or other obstacles while frogging
