    Good 35 cal. plinker.

    I was looking for something I could shoot in my ol' 35 cal lever gun that wouldn't take so much powder. I read a bunch of reviews and several people think this little pill is great. At least one guy said it is his most accurate .35 bullet. I have not used it yet but it looks to be good quality. I probably should have purchased the six banger.

    Mold works extremely well with consistent diameters

    This mold casts great using wheel weight metal. I cleaned the mold first, heated it, and then after three or four casts I was off and running. I cast more than 500 bullets in about 2-1/2 hours at a steady, but not rapid pace. Quenched in water, the diameters are 0.3576 +/- 0.0002 inches. I am satisfied. Seating overall length has been 1.090 to 1.104 inches, depending on the barrel throat.

    Impressive Performance

    I have always been partial to higher priced cast Iron and steel molds. My experience with Lee molds goes back to the 1970's and those were pretty bad. This is the first of their new stuff that I purchased only because they had the bullet design I wanted and the other guys didn't. SURPRISE!!!! This mold is excellent. The improvement in the mold quality as well as the mechanics of its operation left me very impressed. I will definitely consider Lee the next time I need a new bullet mold.

    Lee Always Makes Good, Affordable Molds

    Clean it with lighter fluid, smoke it with a candle, heat it up and it makes usable bullets every time. Easy to use and durable. Keep it lubbed with bees wax at the critical rub points and it should last a lifetime. Treat it gentle and it won't get out of alignment. Be sure you smoke it periodically and keep the sprue plate snugged down and sprue screw lubbed. Plus, Lee has a return program where they will replace it within the first year, and for 1/2 price after that they will wither fix or replace it for as long as you own it. Doesn't get any better than that.

    Lee two cavity bullet mold

    Good value and works great. Heats up quicker than the larger 6 cavity molds. Using this mold for smaller batch sizes and have the ability to produce two or three different bullets in a much shorter period of time.
