Sheath works in pocket okay, belt only design
I use suspenders, so I never use a belt. The only sheath I use is the custom kydex for the Hellfyre blade. I like this on my left hand side because it's sharp well made blade these knives always have. I assumed everything to be smooth, but the pins and different surfaces stick out, helps grip. As far as self defense, it really is good for slicing, not narrow enough to be used as a defense dagger. This clip button I never use, I just leave it opened. Looks good, but not very useful.
Nice looking knife but has a few problems. 1) This is supposed to be a boot knife but the sheath provided is a belt sheath and is way to thick to be tucked in a boot, plus it has no clip on it. Only solution was to purchase another sheath. 2) Blade is not sharp. It took some effort to get a sharp edge on the blade.

Super boot knife!
I have a vast collection of knives, some of my own hand forged and finish. This USA mfd. boot knife is superior in construction, the double-edged stiletto blade keeps a near-razor sharp edge. Its stainless steel is likened to that of Vanadium, and it extends rearward to a full tang. Handle stock is carefully blended, knife has superior balance, and the guard is more 'adequate' than ever seen in production knives. I carry this one, and can throw it with accuracy, the balance is so keen. NOTHING negative about this wonderful example.I have a vast collection of knives, some of my own hand forged and finish.
