      Easy instalation

      Has easy access to timer and batteries plus the AA batteries are much more inexpensive than the 6 volt kind. Setting the timer for different times and lengths to spread is another great feature. I love the water tight screw on cover/lid also that it the protects batteries and the digital controller. I will never use another spreader on my feeders.

      Works but needs improvement

      Timer so far works great. Tends to be fragile at the 3 pivot points. To fix and make it stronger after it brakes, remove the screw and metal piece that the screw goes into that molded in the plastic stem. ( If it brakes you'll know where I'm talking about ) Use a longer and bigger course thread wood screw or a dry wall screw to put it back together. Be careful not to tighten to much. It will strip out. This is how I fixed both of mine. I'm trying these smaller feeders to see if the timers are better because the quality of the timers on the larger ones have gone downhill.

      Great compact and powerful kit

      It's easy to install and works just like the full size timers. It has all the features packed into one compact kit. I have two installed on homemade feeders and so far they have worked great. Powered by 4 AA batteries make these easier to power since batteries are cheaper and easier to install and carry. No wires, no hassle no problems.

      Quiter than most.

      This feeder is quieter than most feeders. This might prove to be an advantage when hunting spooky or jumpy game. Even though it is powered by 4 AA batteries, it does a good job of scattering the feed. The battery life seems to be between 3 to 4 weeks, depending on brand and type of batteries used.

      Best Feeder on the market!

      I have used just about every brand and style of feeder on the market. These outlast and out-perform all the others at a much cheaper price. They are low profile so the critters have a hard time knocking them off. And, they run all year on 4 AA lithium batteries.
