Best thing since "sliced bread"
This was my first experience with Open box but I could not be happier with the results! I did a lot of research on this product and knew what I wanted, but wanted to find the best price that I could. The reviews on Open Box were very good but since it was "pre-owned" I was at first hesitant to jump on board. Boy, am I ever glad that I did as the unit looks brand new and every single item was present and accounted for. Great versatile detector that hits a lot of targets.
Just used it in the lake for 4 hours. Seems to pick up a lot more signals than my X-terra. I was a little ambivalent about purchasing the Equinox 600 but so far it seems to be paying dividends. I probably have 20 hours in 2 weeks on the detector and I've very glad I made the purchase. Used it last weekend at a soccer field and found 2 kids rings. a lot of machine for a vey reasonable price in my opinion ! lighter than my older machine too!
A New technology to me. The machine instructions on the web site are easy to understand. The unit goes deep. I'm Still learning my ID numbers and tones and have only been out with it twice and on the second hunt it sniffed out some deeper older coins. I am still learning the detector but when ground balanced properly with a smooth threshold it found me some older coins in an area I had hunted many times before. Equinox 600 in my opinion is a very good unit for the price.
