I purchased Civilization to stroll through the nostalgic days of playing it off a 5 1/4 floppy. The SNES version included a music soundtrack, but the music tended to get repetitive like the adaptations of other DOS PC games like Sim City, so that doesn't have a particular appeal, but it is a nice touch. The adaptation of SNES controller from the PC mouse is actually pretty well. Nintendo did a good job with that, as they did with most of the strategy/simulation ports. Gameplay is rock-solid Sid Meier's Civilization to the core. A very decent addition for fans of the old PC game, fans of SNES strategy/simulation games, or fans of the Sid Meier's games in general that want to round out their collection.
This game is a classic! Originally made for the Super Nintendo, this game allows you to take control of an ancient or modern civilization, and then begin to take over the world, via conquest, dipolomacy, or your own unique blend of both. I highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of classic Nintendo games, strategy games, or someone who wants to start. 5 out of 5
I purchased this game for my 23 year old nephew for Christmas. He had mentioned how much he loved this game when he was younger. It's always nice to get an enthusiastic response to what you have picked out. And this game got a very happy reaction. I can't really review this game, as I have never personally played it. But I'd say it must be pretty fun.
Works perfect thanks so much

The best world domination game I've played (not counting the Risk board game). The options for advancement are a bit slow at times, but pay off in the long run with cool ships and new assault units to choose from. A great game overall.
