    Informative family movie

    This is a great movie that will inform most whom don’t know the treatment of black people in today’s society. It will pull some tears from you as the characters are engaging. It’s a family movie that shows one part of life from the view point of a female black teenager and how she deals with the loss of her friend and some friendships.

    Very powerful film on racism in the U.S.

    The most honest depiction of what it's like to try to straddle two worlds, the challenges that you face and the racism, even inadvertent, that you encounter. I'm caucasian so I might not be the best person to make these comments but it seemed real to me based on what some of my friends of color have told me.

    Excellent Movie!

    After watching this movie I can say that African Americans are still dealing with prejudice by police officers among other things in this society. I definitely felt angry about the outcome of this movie but it is a really good movie and would recommend everyone to watch it.
