Before I mounted my tires I put both the rims on the balancer to check for straightness and balance. They were both perfectly straight but a little out of balance. Since I was swapping over my old tires and knew where the weights needed to be I was able to offset the heavy spots and get the balance very close before putting the weights on. All in all I'm very happy.
