Worked for 5 shots
Put this into a model 40. Tested out and it does lessen the muzzle jump. The only problem is that it got stuck after 5 shots and had to disassemble which was tough, had to use a wooden dowel to punch it out of the slide. I investigated the spring further and of course used a micrometer for measurements. I compared it to the original specs. The spring retention buttons are too close to complain, the buttons have way to many sharp edges and should be polished better. What I did find is that the main spring dimension was larger than the retention button cap. It should be smaller and maybe retained inside the spring cap. I think lone wolf is on the way for the price but it needs to have better finishing and attention to the spring. Unfortunately this was last piece for my competition unit ... I tried this one because of the price, and to find out if it really reduces muzzle jump. I should have just went to ZEV, Tarin Tac, Glockstore. I know they are about twice the price but I am sure that I would not have any of the problems that I encountered. Overall rating is not bad if you want to work on it after the purchase to make it perfect, or buy the competion's unit all finished and truly a drop in and go spring.
