Seller had several of the same item, and I figured that he probably took pictures of the best one, so wasn't completely shocked when the one I got was significantly more cosmetically damaged than the model used in pictures. System took some coaxing to get to work. It was either pre-damaged or took a beating during shipping, with broken drive bracket, disconnected drive cable, and loose power cable. But eventually got it working and cleaned up so happy in the end.

    HP DRIVES

    These drives run very well under Linux but NOT under Windows10. The array fails every time on several different Adaptec RAID controllers after a Microsoft update. SATA drives work with no problem with the same controllers. So, if you're looking for drives to run with Windows10 I'd recommend a different manufacturer.
