I purchased this product after accidentally pulling a 1.5" trace off my guitar amp PCB.I had watched lots of videos on how to solder in jumper wires to reconnect the existing traces but kept looking online for any other way to fix my problem,then I saw this product on YouTube videos and ordered 1..it came fast,and I prepped my PCB,then used this pen to reconnect my traces and let dry for 24 hours,After 24 hours I felt for dryness hardness and it was just right,then took my Digital Multi Meter and checked for continuity on opposite sides of the trace repair and it worked..so I re-assembled my amplifier,turned it on and strummed my guitar,it was working like before I damaged the PCB while doing some modifications..I am EXTREMELY HAPPY that I researched more and found this product..I would ... Not exactly as advertised
If you had to write on a circuit board with this, I don't know how you would do it. The ink does not flow through the tip, I tried cleaning, it to no avail. The ink itself does work, and I had to use a separate brush to coat the item ( my car remote).
