I’m using this attachment in conjunction with a drop leg thigh component, and a Safariland 6360 holster. it’s remarkably comfortable moves the weight of my Sig 229 with surefire light I highly recommend it for anyone who has a bad back

It's ok.
It's a nescessary evil. As part of a system, it's better than just a strap, but makes for a bulky kit. Could be designed better. If you are mounting your weapon directly to your leg. mount, it is less bulky than if you are adding the quick disconnect adapter. Having said that. It still works.

Exactly what I needed
The drop strap on my holster was just too low, this brings your holster up to a slightly lower position than a jacket slot holster. It's perfect for me.

Better than the loop of webbing.
The DFA is a nicer setup for dropping your holster to clear your armor or to move weight off your hips. I like that the DFA attaches to a duty belt more securely than the older loop of webbing. It has a good mix of flex and rigidity that supports a holster mounted to a thigh panel.

More comfortable than a standard UBL
The flex adapter fits more in conjunction with modern two-piece belt setups (inner and outer). More snug and minimalistic; while, being more rigid when connected to these types of systems, versus a standard UBL
