This game is a "must have" if you like bombermans games, why i buy it?, apart of the reviews i saw in other pages or the options in this game, i bought it, becouse, when i bought my Nintendo 64, in the store they gift me a game, and it was Bomberman Hero, i like he game, and i also knew of the 1 game of bomberman in the N64, and that was Bomberman 64, so, when a dvd store broke up here, i bought that game, i played and love it ( is very hard ), so there i was, with my 2 bomberman games ( 64 and hero ), but i info myself that there was a 3 game: Bomberman 64 The Second Attack, Here in Peru, that game never was sold, i couldnt find it in stores, or markets, i only saw it in the internet, and then........i saw it in ebay, but i was under 18 years old to have a credit card, and i wait and wait, when i could buy it ( i was more than 18 years old ) it was too expensive, i think this game is a rare item, compared to other N64 games, you see more copies of the game than this, or people dont want to sell it. So one day i saw it on auction, and there i was bidding until i won!!!, 6 days later it arrive to my house, and now i have the 3 Bomberman games for the N64, but lets talk about the game........ 1 of all, good story, just to hear that you will have 8 types of bombs and 8 planets to explore, let your imagination fly, also the best part of all is the multiplayer games, you have 5 types to choose ( in bomberman 64, you only have 2 types and 10 arenas, and in bomberman hero, there was no multiplayer ), the only thing that i dont like, is that you cant explore the worlds, like the 1 game, or have many areas in one world like the 2 game, so, when you enter to a world, you have to finih all in one row. There aren´t hard, they are short or medium, maiby an hour to finish a world, but you will have to return again ( at least 2 or 3 times more ) to get the 100% of that world. here there aren´t gold cards, but custom parts yes. i know that i will prefered a bomberman game with many areas and the explore system, but, i had that in bomberman 64 and hero, so....this game is diferent of those 2 game for many reasons. So, if you like Bomberman 64 and hero, you need this one, i can say it 1000 times, this game great and a piece of collection.Read full review
Man, Bomberman Attack just wasn't that fun for me, at the end of the day. You had to finish the entire world before saving. I realized, as I was rather dreading to start it up again, that I just did not have to. I have enough games that if that particular game is not my thing I can just not play it. I love Mario, and Pac-Man along with Bomberman but I have a limit. Sometimes my fingers just cannot move fast enough to stop dieing. So when I started Bomberman Attack I realized early on that I could only go to a certain point without getting any better; that point didn’t have a save area. I really enjoyed what I could play, so it made me rather sad to have to put it away for good.
Same great game as the North american one, just alot cheaper. you dont really need to read any of the story to get the story if that makes sense. if you want an awesome game for $120 less than the normal english price of ($150) then bomber man 2 japan is the right game for you

Once Bomberman defeats most, if not all of the knights, the way opens to Warship Noah, the cause of the black hole and the HQ of the BHB army. Inside, he faces his toughest challenges, including fighting Lilith, now possessed by the goddess Mihaele (a female derivation of Michael (archangel)), Rukifellth, whom it is revealed has been possessed by the demon Sthertoth all along, and finally Sthertoth himself (name possibly derived from the Greek demon Stheno or the gods Set and Thoth). If Bomberman goes to the final confrontation without defeating all bosses first, Sthertoth will be impossible to defeat, resulting in a bad ending. Otherwise, the true final boss of the game will reveal itself and challenge Bomberman to decide the fate of the universe, resulting in the good ending.
This rare title is worth the value. Awesome graphics for the 64 and great gameplay.
