It is very small, but luckily I bought the small and not the extra small. My daughter usually wears an extra small, but after the reviews, I decided to go with a small. My advice is definitely to size up. It is a tiny bit snug, but she loves it! The wig is difficult, and we cannot seem to get it on her right. the clips for the ponytails are visible regardless of how we shifted it around. Other than wig problems we are very happy.
