From one dark Prophet to another. The right man at the right time with balls big enough to face the evil Christians

Hello I am a former Consecrated Deacon in the Lutheran Christian religion. So why would I buy buy the Satanic Bible? That's simple. It's the same reason that I own several copies of the Quran, the Book of Mormon, Spiritualist Books, The Torah, The Bible, etc. Hell I even have a book on eckankar. In order to better understand one's own religion one must study other religions. I have been very Smitten by other religions at times. And in fact I even took my shahada in the Muslim world and for a short time with a very mixed up Mustian. Which is half Muslim half Christian if that makes any sense? And no it doesn't. However this experience did open my eyes to the hatred of Christians towards anyone who is not a Christian. I truly believe there is only one God. It's quite simple and Jesus ...

  • Dont' Be Afraid!!!

As an avid reader, especially on the topics of religion, philosophy, politics, and the like; I was always in the dark about modern Satanism. I decided to give the Satanic Bible a read as it seemed a logical place to start. I was surprised by what I read and found it very insightful and even charming in a "down to hell" sort of way! Gone forever now are the notions of kids dressed in black, listening to heavy metal and smoking dope or creepy perverts looking for women and children to rape, molest or worse in the name of the devil! I was pleased to find that it was much more grounded and rooted in philosophy and had nothing to do with worship of a red monster with horns and a pitchfork. While its writer (La Vey) did use that image as a sales pitch, in a tongue and cheek sort of ...

  • My 2 cents worth

This has always been a usefull book to those seeking information be they Satanist, Christian, Muslim, or otherwise... Doesnt matter. It helps resolve a lot of misleading information floating arround on the internet and other places, though people should keep in mind that this is only one viewpoint and others on this religion (yes I said religion) do exist. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own religious beliefs (nope, sorry to burst your bubble but I am not a Satanist, in fact I am a a legaly recognized interfaith minister) and that no one has any right to take that away from another person. There is not really anything I dislike about this book, other than the author dying (you are missed by many, hope your journey sees you in a fair place), but that is a different story. I ...

  • What did you expect?

It was a good book, if you have a good idea of what you're about to read. It can easily be construed as highly offensive, because, well, it is. But if you're ready to get over that and read something that presents a selfish, mean view of the world, and how you can enjoy it, then pick this book up and give it a read. However, I am a little inclined to be more skeptic about the magic section, despite the intriguing way in which it is presented. If you don't look at it as magic though, and more as what one would be willing to do to get what you wanted, it seems far less, er, crazy. Still, I highly recommend it.

  • Not as bad as i thought it would be

I always wanted to read this book, though i`m not into any of this kind of stuff, just like to know how peoples minds work, that beind said, i likes the first part of the book very much, he makes very good points about human nature, he has a good sence about how the world works, and most of the people in it, as far as the magic stuff and the rituals, i didn`t really care for all that stuff much, though i did like the cloths the women were suppose to wear...but the strange thing is that most people would say they are satanic, but they would pratice much of what they are for, hard not to in todays world, but all in all an interesting read
