    Great bang for the buck!

    It works just as well as, or better than, the original Apple OEM blade SSDs. Unlike the newer NVMe blades, this blade SSD allows older versions of the Mac OS to recognize it and utilize it in the late 2013 rMBP's. I ran Internet Recovery at boot, and installed OS X Mavericks, which ran flawlessly on this drive, but since I was wanting at least a few of the new features, such as Continuity, and others, I upgraded to macOS Sierra, which also runs flawlessly on this drive. I can upgrade to the newer ones later if I want, that's what is great about this SSD! Great bang for your buck in my opinion.

    Awesome HD, super fast.

    This version of the HD is significantly faster than the one that shipped with late 2013 / mid 2014 laptops. I've verified the read/write speeds (2x improvement) and it feels much faster subjectively. I went from a standard 256gb to this 512gb and couldn't be happier. Use Carbon Copy Cloner if you want to clone your old drive or just pop it in and go fresh with the OS thats already installed. Cloning/install took 30 min.

    Original equipment works better than third party replacements.

    I find these used Apple/Samsung SSD boards better than the third party ones, which have been unstable in my experience. These are stable, high quality solutions for adding storage to Macbook Airs, 2013 .
