    Temperature Sensor for outside heat pump.

    I purchased this item to replace the exterior heat pump defrost sensor. I was uncertain it would actually work. Mice chewed through the old sensor cable and destroyed the old sensor tip. It is also the part that relays temp to digital wall thermostat control unit inside. After a quick splice, it displayed the correct outside temp on my inside thermostat screen. Works GREAT.!!! Works PERFECT!!!

    Problem solver

    We use PTAC heat pump units in our addition, those are a lot of HVAC for the money, but lack sophisticated controls. With this and a TH8000 series thermostat, you can make them function as well as possible. The main concern is; automatic fall-over to auxiliary heat. Outside temp is essential to accomplish this, and this is the proper factory part.
