    I bought these locks for outdoor storage and truth be told I threw them in the trash. After long shipping delays I was already frustrated bc I didn’t use Amazon with next day delivery. It took weeks. Both locks did not accept codes after several attempts and using included instructions. I decided instead of the hassle and stress to throw them out instead of dragging on the return process and frustration. Save your money, these are junk!

      Excellent lock. Very strong; needs a separate key to set the number, so don't lose it.

      Simple, strong lock. Realize that people, with lots of patience, can open these if they have lots of access to it. I have opened two of these four-digit type before. You just need infinite patience. You start at 0000 and count upwards until you reach 9999 (hoping that you put a number like 0520). Because they can be set to any number at all; years-later you'll come back and forget what you set it to. I like, and dislike, that you need a strange key to set the lock. If you leave it open at the gym and someone else takes it... they can't reset the number. So, if you see the lock again; you can grab it again, open it with your own combination, then reset the combination so they can't take it back again. Anyways, love the lock. Excellent price for a very heavy duty lock.

      This is a high quality lock.The first thing I noticed is that boath sides of the hasp lock, not just one side like cheep ones.
