A Mouse Trap Reviewed
It's a mousetrap. It kills mice. It's not necessarily impressive. In fact I'll bet it's design probably hasn't been upgraded improved or redesigned in 100 years. What can I say, I was asked to review the item. It's just my guess but maybe somewhere somehow a real person saw this and said to themselves, "that damn thing needs reviewed". And so here I am dutifully responding to the email requesting me to write a review. To be honest they shipped really really slow. So slow in fact that my cat had the problem under control by the time they showed up. It was like 17 days, really slow. They showed up in a box the size of a shoe box too. It was like 10 times too big and they were just loose in there rolling around causing all kinds of racket and noise. Not real classy. And then finally there was ... It's a mousetrap. It kills mice. Too many mice in the garden
These mousetraps work well. Our application is a garden, totally outdoors, exposed to the weather. And, we also caught a couple of starlings early in the mornings with these traps. I wish these were weather-proof (rains and rains and rains here), because the metal corrodes when it gets wet and the steel seems to rust when it gets wet and stays wet. But this is a very good value for helping to control mice in the garden.These mousetraps work well. Our application is a garden, totally outdoors, exposed to the weather. Low quality traps--do not recommend.
These are low quality traps in both construction/quality control, and effectiveness. The Victor (or any other brand) with the plastic base/trigger work infinitely better and are far less sketchy to use and maintain. Many of these traps failed upon snapping (spring base coming out of wood block or trigger disconnecting itself) without even catching a rodent.
