Had to make it fit, and it looks great
I purchased this part for a 2012 Harley FLSTC knowing if probably would not fit. The hard head that I am I went to work on figuring out how to make it work. The following is how I did it... First and foremost if not for the rubber paint saving gasket it would not have covered the OEM tail light hole side ways. The Heritage softail classic (FLSTC) has a electrical block at the top of the OEM hole opening where the tail light and turn signals connect. Bending the block into the opening (and making sure it didn't interfere with the rear tire) gave me the room to place the Tombstone light over the hole flat. The part came with 2 wires but I had 3 wires to connect, so I ended up using the OEM bulb, and connector..There are two holes that require drilling in the fender to mount the new light, ... Oh yea it looks GREAT on the Softail.
