Due to the design of the motherboard socket, I had to slightly chamfer the edges of the fins where they enter the socket bracket, but that was easy to do with a rotary cutting tool. Other sockets may not have this problem, as the plastic bracket may have shrunk slightly with heat and age, so I can't fault the cooler. The cooler performs well and the fan is quiet.
