The quality is definitely not on par with the original one. But considering its price, it's still worthy, if the following issues are less cared. The screen light leakage is serious. Several white areas around the screen can be seen in black screen -- usually when the phone is booting. This seems not a big deal as long as the boot screen is always not focused. It does not 100% fit the device. E.g. one of the screws cannot fit without using pliers to do a small fix; home button is a little bit shacking. The hardness of the asseccery is not as good as the original one. Waves can be easily seen on the screen when it is pressed a little bit hard. Well, it's do worthy to repair the broken iPhone with 20 bucks, instead of $120 if someone can manage to replace it, and use the device as a backup ... But as I always believe, iXXXs are the worst designed electronic devices I have ever repaired. I always think, do they really need to do this, or just to avoid people to repair the broken ones themselves. IMO, Apple simply wants to earn more money from repairing the devices. For example, there are FOUR cables connecting between the mother board and the screen assemble. I cannot even imagine this kind of design of 1980s is still existing. All the other phones or laptops I have repaired have only one cable, or at most one more power cord between screen and mother board. Also, notice the two small screws at the bottom of the phone, around the USB port, these are the biggest screws on the phone. Around 16 smaller screws inside the phone need to be taken care, most of them are 1/3 size of these two screws. So it's really easy to break the phone entirely instead of repairing it. Note, there are also bunch of small plastic covers, earphone assemble or camera protector you need to take care. None of them are included in this item, you will need to translate from old one yourself. But anyway, after around two hours, I managed to replace the screen. Sadly I found the touch ID did not work. iOS complaints that the touch ID cannot be activated. I tried to dissemble the device again, reconnected every cables, but still no luck. I have searched around, someone said a factory reset was required to make it work again. But what's the point, the most important reason I replace the screen myself is to avoid erasing all my wife's data. Both me and my wife are happy without the touch ID. Buyers should aware this possibility. Finally about the tools included in the asseccery, they are quit low quality. But again, they just work. I would suggest to prepare some better mini screw drivers.

Screen Burns when brightness is over half.
I noticed the screen burning the keyboard in. Seems to fade away slowly after several hours or overnight. It burns fast too. It burned the keyboard in after only a few seconds on full brightness (be careful and turn auto brightness off). Besides the burning, it won't fit flush although it does come with some double sided tape to keep it for sticking up. That doesn't make it sit completely flush tho. With all that considered its half the price of the higher quality screens and probably better than half the quality. Its worth it if you can get over that. The product is a good item. Good quality, nice build, and isn't a bad price. My original display was cracked, glass and digitizer both. After switching, it was perfectly fine, and then I noticed a couple small spots where it seemed the light was bleeding through more than the rest of the display. And when on black backgrounds the light has some strange bleed at the top and bottom, and you can see a few more pixels for those with trained eyes. You can tell this isn't an OEM piece from Apple, but it is only meant as a replacement. If you don't mind the minor imperfections then this is money well spent. Worked well and not to hard to switch
Came with instructional video that was a wonderful screens are really easy to switch out and pretty much make your phone new again. Just make sure that it is the exact screen as you previously had as I had gotten a screen that was slightly different and it fried my phone

Saved atlest a hundred bucks with this kit. I dropped my iPhone while riding my motorcycle, I thought for sure I was gonna need a new phone. Luckily this kit saved it. The phone works perfectly, just one small issue. The screen dosent sit completely flush on one corner just barely though, but it could be my iPhone itself after being dropped at 60+ miles lol.
