It was in great condition but took a lot longer than anticipated (2 weeks). The book was exactly like the US edition and overall, the interaction with buyer was good. Thanks!

  • It is a good book

It is a good text book for a student majoring in statistics. It has the basic ideas and very good examples. This is a very classical book in multivariate analysis (MVA). Its first edition was published in 1982. I bought this one as my principal MVA reference. PC's did not exist yet, and textbooks did not integrate statistical computing. Five editions later, the book still seems mostly as though it was written 30 years ago.

  • just TERRIBLE

This book provides very little direction for the readers/students. I have a statistics class using this book and all of the students speak with much disdain about this book. It provides minimal examples and instructions on the methods being "taught" and it makes major assumptions about what students already know about the research method. It is very horribly written because it does not even make the necessary link to actual/practical research, i.e., how is this number crunching useful when I am doing research, what do all these equations ultimately mean? The book may be useful for those already in the field who already have a very solid understanding of these methods, NOT for students needing to learn completely foreign material. My suggestion for students: STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK!

  • A great reference

It is a classic reference book about statistical analysis. The book I received was an international copy with average paper quality, but it was better than what I expected.

  • Book review

This book can be confusing due to the way they represent rows and columns, its inconsistent with every math class ive taken before. But other than that its pretty good. I had to get this book for class.
