      EARLY SHAW BROTHERS CLASSIC FOR COLLECTORS ONLY

      A true classic of the Shaw Brothers Studios, featuring two of their greatest stars from the early era: Ti Lung and David Chiang. The problem is the film pales in comparison to the later Venom Mob series, and the fight scenes are more wu xsia than hand to hand kung fu that would dominate in the 1970's. Chiang was better in Shaolin Mantis, and most of his fight scenes are carried out with the aid of wires and fast cutting. Ti Lung is the real fighter, and it shows. Also look out for Bolo Yueng as one of the villains. A must have for collectors, but for aficionados of great kung fu action, pass on this.
