Dreambaby Gate
I purchased this gate to keep dogs out of a certain room. It works well as it is tight and they can't scoot under it. The good and bad are the same - how the gate locks. You need to press and turn a button to release the gate which can be difficult if you are carrying anything. And it works kind of like a seatbelt where if you stop or go back at all, it locks up. The good is that little kids will have a hard time opening it. The bad is that Adults will have a hard time too! :) But in general, you get used to it and it works well! Its alright. Space saver but not flawless.
When being used the tension on the top is tighter than that on the bottom so my kid still tries to get under it. It's also a little difficult to get the push and turn button to engage so you can retract the gate. Downside: it requires 2 hands to retract it. One on the push and turn knob that you have to hold while releasing the handle side from the catch.
