Integrating the IntelliSeek feature, this desktop hard drive calculates the most favorable seek speed of the hard drive, in order to reduce noise, vibration and power consumption. You can transfer files from one folder to another, at an adequate rate of 126 MB/s (max). Your WD Caviar hard drive is protected from damaging bumps and vibrations by its ShockGuard feature, while in operation. The durability of this desktop hard drive improves significantly because of its NoTouch ramp load technology that prevents the recording from coming in contact with the disk media, reducing wear and tear.
