    Where has this been hiding?

    Gordon Dickson is one of my favorite science fiction writers. His Chyld cycle series featuring the Dorsai and the rise of intuitive man are very compelling works . I have never heard of Wolf and Iron until Amazon brought it up as a reprint recently. The story progresses with a slightly different slant we come to expect from Dickson's work. It takes a society after the collapse of modern institutions on brand-new (at least to me) slant. A very satisfying read.
