This is a dry form of silicone that is food grade and safe to use around areas where food is prepared. Although it is a spray it comes out as a dry powder and dries quickly. One can pretty much keep it confined to the area that needs lubrication and avoid overspray. I used it on some replacement windows whose vinyl side tracks had become balky. Non-functional Product
I purchased this to re-surface a George Foreman grill. Following directions, I thoroughly cleaned the grill surfaces, finishing with alcohol cleaning until both surfaces were spotlessly clean. Then I applied five coats of the product, allowing time to thoroughly dry between each coat until there was a sufficient build up. Not only did the "non-stick" properties not work, the grill was actually worse! It took forever to clean up the mess resulting from this product's failure. Absolutely worthless product.
