  • Holy Grail of disney Books

This is the Holy Grail of Disney books. A funny and compelling story of Disneyland from its inception through its 50 year celebration told through the pictures and captions of the many postcards that have been available through the years. The authors, (unfortunately both have passed away) write is a Puny style that any Disney Cast Member or Disney Fan will love. Little write in a general exposé but mostly pictures of the postcards and lots of captions explaining every little detail. An immense amount of collecting, work, sorting, organization, writing and presentation went into this work. I understand the authors used their own money to buy and acquire the postcards, used an outside printer in Italy, (Disney publishing told them the book would not sell- how wrong they were), and self published the book. They were sold quickly at trade shows and Facebook. For any Disney Affecticano, this will be a most treasured book in their collection. With prices from $356-over $2000, it is a hard book to come buy but one you will be proud to own and show off.
