My excitement turned to disappointment, however, when I saw that the blanket looked like it had just been plucked off a bed and packaged without cleaning. There were hairs all over it. Gross! I am tempted to send it back, but the blanket design is a limited edition so I don't know if I will ever find another one. I used an entire lint roller to remove as much hair as possible, but as noted in the listing, some was present due to storage. Because this is a vintage Pendleton blanket, washing isn't recommended as it can damage the fibers.
