good but not great
The burners heat up fast and are good for an emergency or for extra burners if you need them, but for accurate cooking it's not recommended. for example, if you have something on med or med low the burners heat up too hot and you can burn something very fast and the elements turn on and off so you really have to keep an eye on it. All and all for the price and some draw backs it's not really all that bad of a product

Works well for the size ...it has 3 settings Hi Low Med ...had to use the Hi settings to get my desired effect ...burners are a little small for a large frying pan...but overall it works..

Burners are uneven
After a few weeks of light use while changing our kitchen, I have found that the burners are uneven and very little contact is made with the pot or pan. One light has already failed. It takes about 60-70 minutes to bring a gallon of water to boil. Because of the limited contact of the heating coil, I guess. Made in China, what should I have expected.

Over all performance
This little dual hot plate really came in handy for me and my husband. We moved and needed something to cook with until we could afford to buy a stove. It was simple to use and didn't need any special plugs. We just ordered our stove and plan on using this outside for cook outs! It does run hot quickly so be careful when using it to cook.
