    Nice iPad mini upgrade from 4th gen

    This is an awesome upgrade to my iPad mini, 4th generation. No more delays and hesitations from finger presses. Switching apps no longer is annoyingly slow. The side bezels are wider than expected and the thickness seems bulkier than the 4th gen, but otherwise no issues with the device's design. I thought I'd hate losing the home button, but have adapted, and the fingerprint reader on the power button works quickly enough. I refrained from buying the device new, and finding it lightly used on eBay made it a much more palatable deal.

    I like the interface, the quality is pretty good for a tablet. IOS works flawlessly. I dearly miss the headphone connector. The screen is very nice, very readable, and the whole device is pretty light, so it can perfectly replace a Kindle for reading. The storage is a bit on the low side (64 Gb) and you need to consider that IOS will take 12 of those Gb for itself, so you get a lot less. But I have other bigger tablets. I need this one to write, and for that it's great.

    Nice upgrade but wish a few of the mechanical features from the previous version were still there.

    It‘s a great product from Apple in general. I don‘t like that they removed the headphone jacks and the adaptor plug doesn’t connect directly to a PC any more. I wish they would bring those back. But the other features are great, and it works without problems.
