For the true noir film lover
Wow. If you love film, you will probably love this movie. The tech is amazing. The 3D is fabulous. The characters are riveting. The dialogue is GREAT. The plot will engulf you, if you let it. Yes, there is violence PLUS. However, the comic book black/white treatment of most scenes (in particularly the bloody scenes) helps - and the touches of color to the various scenes and characters simply adds more intrigue. If you start watching this and find it confusing, just try to stay focused - it's really an amazing film. I have to say I loved everything about it. Just a personal note - we all know that Jessica Alba does these edgy roles from time to time - why does it always concern us, as if her character was actually her? Most of her fans see her as ethical, inspiring, and uplifting. When we see her in a guttural role, it makes us defensive FOR her! Heheh, sign of a star!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
