Controls suck
Very difficult to use. Controls are confusing even fro a geek like me. I bought this for an old lady to replace her old tape recorder but i now realized she wont be able to use it because of confusing it is to operate it. You have 2 stop buttons for once. that's absurd engineering.

Good item, superior in some ways to later models.
As above. Notably it is smaller than later models (the 333 for instance), sound quality better, and allows user to divide a recording into parts so next session the previous section won't have to be heard or run through again. Good machine.
