Very fortunate field tone I best describe as muted earthy persimmon / rust spectrum that goes lighter or darker depending on angles and your lighting. This piece has been professionally cleaned with no animal or smoke. There is some antique wear over the century but great for the age, clean, durable and colorful for a lifetime of value. This piece is made of sheep wool and natural vegetable dyes by skilled crafts people with around 100 knots per square inch per foundation layer (double knotted so 200 effective kpsi). Millions of knots overall. Accents in teal green and earth tones from indigo grape lilac hyacinth. Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving light and dark shades of each color called 'abrash' by curators, giving lots of tone nuance. See all 20 images and closeups”
