    Practical, reliable, easy to use, and easy to store

    I needed this quick for a golf travel trip. I had one pro recommend I just get a 1x2" pine board and stick it in my bag. That would have been much cheaper, but lacks in two ways, with drove me to spend the $30. This is a collapsible shaft so that I can store it away or put it in luggage. Second, the ABS plate protects a wider area and held up well to the airline abuse. After the trip, it looks the same as the day I bought it. Easy to use, press the yellow button to resize.

    Light and Flexible Support.

    If you don't need it in your golf travel bag, then you don't because it is unlikely that the clubs would be smashed against the ground during transportation. But if you do need an extra insurance, then you will love this back bone product by Bag Boy -- light, durable, flexible, and not expensive!

    Club Protector

    Just used it for the first time on a trip to North Carolina, and it performed as advertised. As long as TSA doesn’t do something to the Backbone (as they search my golf bag EVERY time I travel with my clubs), my clubs should be protected.
