    Foil Shaver replacement screen works, but....

    My Remington DA-107 shaver has been my favorite for over 10 years. I've been purchasing replacement foil+cutter (p/n SP-62) up to this point. This time around I though I would save some cash and purchase just the foil, not the cutter. SP-61 contains ONLY the foil. Unfortunately, the performance of the shaver is significantly less than before. The motor seems to bog down, and the shave is not as close. The SP-61 came packaged in an unmarked white cardboard container. It appears to be of good quality. While I assume it is the genuine OEM replacement part, there is not way to verify this on the packaging. By comparison the SP-62 kits I've purchased in the past came in an OEM branded plastic blister pack - just like you would see hanging on a rack in the store. I've already ordered ...

    The SP-61 replacement screen works great !

    My original microscreen somehow got a hole in it. The SP-61 replacement works great. I have no complaints. It was easy to install. I'm very happy with it. My razor is once again just like new.

    As good as any

    I've bought this product numerous times from various vendors, both on-line and in stores. This most recent purchase is everything I expected. Smooth, no bites and a nice close shave. I don't know who the manufacturer is but it works as well as the original that came with the shaver when it was new.
