Easy installation and great value
I highly recommend this cycle computer. The price is right. The features are comparable to units that cost much more and installation is easy! I've owned the 7 model and with this one you get a couple more data read outs-calories burned and another feature I have to admit, I don't even use and can't think of. Electronics keep getting more and more entertaining. Instructions are clear especially if you speak 14 languages. Another fine Cateye product. Easy set up and use.
I like this model. It was easy to setup and attach to my bike. There was enough wire to place it on the front fork and run it up to my handle bar. I did not have the same succcess with a prior wireless device. It just didn't work well and I decided to go with a wired set up. In use, this model has functioned well. I am pleased with its performance. You will need to spend a few minutes looking over the directions it comes with to be sure you set it up properly. Most of the time is spent playing with the unit, as you refer to the directions, to correctly enter set it up. Everything you need in a device like this, including some you probably won't. Instead of the calorie and CO2 monitor functions, I would have preferred having the ability to mount to a second bike. However, for the price why not buy two? The installation was quick and easy, although the nylon cable ties seem a bit cheap, both in quality and method in attaching to your bike. The initial programming will take most of your time in the installation. There are YouTube videos that should help. Can't go wrong with Cateye products.
