Tested Alienware SK-8165 full-size USB wired keyboard. Features multimedia shortcut keys for volume, media, email, and calculator. Classic Alienware design, manufactured in November 2012. Condition: Used, tested and working. Normal signs of wear from use (see photos). No missing keys, all functions intact. Great for collectors of Alienware peripherals or anyone needing a reliable full-size keyboard.
I'd gotten a Dell (Dude, I got a Dell) many years ago, and despite upgrading to different PC's, I kept the keyboard. I liked how the keys were setup, and the buttons were sufficient for my needs. However, after many years of dust, old skin, and drinks spilled (thanks to my cats), some of the keys were starting to get sticky, or just not work at all. So when I decided to replace it, I wanted to stay with the same key setup, and found these. The price was great and the keys were exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to give it a try. I know the "Alienware" brand of products are very reliable, and are particularly marketed towards gaming, which is what I primarily use my PC for, and this keyboard has not disappointed me. The keys even feel a little better than the actual Dell KB.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with this KB.
Keyboard has good key action, appropriate travel and solid feel. Doesn’t hurt that it has cool Alienware name and trim. Mouse has good feel and positive button action. It fits the hand well. Roller has firm feel and smooth scrolling. It doesn’t have extra buttons but I never use them, they just get in my way.
