This is a game world where Pokémon have their own thriving society, and the player character is just one more citizen in the sky.Released in 2009, Explorers of Sky is the fifth game in the Mystery Dungeon series and a sister game to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. Rated E for Everyone, Explorers of Sky offers a brand-new experience for fans and supplies a fresh avenue of gameplay. You’ll explore the sky and the areas around it and have time to relax, too.The intuitive gameplay encourages players to work as a team and to navigate through procedurally generated dungeons. Spend your time wisely to find treasures even as you go head to head with both wild and unique Pokemon. With some of these dungeons featuring as many as 99 unique floors on which to battle and explore, the fun in Mystery Dungeon never ends.This Nintendo game comes with four new starter Pokemon as well as the original Pokemon set: Phanpy, Vulpix, Riolu, and Shinx. Players can take the default team or create their own. The host of starters also features fan favorites like Charmander, Pikachu, and even Eevee. These are all starter team Pokemon from the first four generations of games. They’re available for selection, and each features their own powerful abilities and evolution.To become a starter and join the explorers, you have to take a test at the beginning to determine which one is best for you based on a series of questions. These questions amount to a personality test, and the result dictates which starter you'll receive before allowing you to pick from the remaining Pokemon to select a partner and establish your Mystery Dungeon team.This partner will be many things on the road to the endgame: a companion, an ally, and a best friend. The plot focuses on you and your partner attempting to join the elite Wigglytuff's Guild, a fellowship of adventurous Pokemon that train to go out on sky missions and capture villainous Pokemon among other objectives. As players strive to prove themselves to the exclusive guild, it quickly becomes clear that there are much greater things at stake than a simple membership card. In fact, the fate of all Pokemon-kind is in your hands.These games will take you not only to the edge of the world but also to the edge of time. Without giving too much away, the future is dark, but players have the chance to save it. After the main story line concludes, the post-story campaign is just as expansive as you've come to expect from Pokemon games. Your adventure team is not only given new dungeons to explore but also new Pokemon to capture, including legendary beasts that become available all across the map.The wireless broadband Internet feature allows players to access special missions or rescue friends over the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection. You can also play as you go without a connection. These extra missions and rare scenarios give you the chance to see the story line from different perspectives, and that ensures the fun won't end for a very long time.
