About this product
Product Information
Cosmic Corridor for the Atari 2600 finds you "lost in space" aboard an interplanetary star cruiser. You are suspended in time -- caught in the hostile region between the edges of the galaxy. Alien monsters, rogue fighters and other space-faring scum bags attack from the top of the vertically scrolling playfield. Using your fine piloting skills and powerful turbo blasters, you might come out of this predicament in one piece (or at least rack up a high score).

Using the joystick, you can maneuver your star cruiser (also known as a laser cannon) up, down, left and right. You also use the joystick to aim your blaster, but you don't have to keep the joystick pointed in that direction because the ship's target computer will hold the blaster steady until you aim in a different direction. Hold down the red button for rapid fire. Your goal is to shoot as many aliens as possible.

You begin each round of Cosmic Corridor with six laser cannons. You lose a ship every time you steer into either side of the craggy corridor or get shot by or run into an alien. The game ends only when you run out of cannons. Four skill levels are available.
