If you are a Gamera fan, this is definitely the right,(and perhaps only non-bootleg?) collection for you. The picture quality is much clearer than other versions, and honestly the only downside is that there is no option for English dubbing or to turn the subtitles off. Actually, there is no option menu at all, or scene selection for that matter. It is defaulted to the original language with English subtitles at all times. But still worth it to me!
Nice they were reissued on Blu-Ray, but...
Picture quality isn't great, and sound is sub-par, as well. I have these on DVD, and these blu-ray transfers are FAR superior to the DVD versions. Mill Creek, the company that did these blu-ray transfers, didn't spend much time or care on the restorations, though. Still..as I said...they beat the DVD versions handily, though.
