Product Information

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed mixes up the kart-racing formula by adding vehicles that transform from cars into boats and planes. As in Sega's previous all-stars racing game, tracks are based on popular Sega games, such as Super Monkey Ball, Panzer Dragoon, and After Burner. Many of the previous game's favorite characters return along with a number of new ones, including Gilius Thunderhead of Golden Axe and Vyse from Skies of Arcadia. Even real-life NASCAR star Danica Patrick and the title character from Disney's Wreck-It Ralph make an appearance.<br><br>When racing through the World Tour mode users gain experience points that upgrade each character and unlock racing mods that alter each vehicle's abilities. Players can also gain experience in the multiplayer modes Grand Prix and Battle Arenas. Multiplayer supports up to ten players online or four players in local split-screen. A new weapon system has been developed as well that gives players a better chance at blocking and evading attacks from the opposition. Available as a pre-order incentive, the bonus edition features the "OutRun Bay" track and the character Metal Sonic.

    Kids love this game

    My kids love playing this game. It has enough variation and fun to keep them entertained and coming back for more. Plus they all get to play together which is rare in newer games. Graphics are good and plenty of levels are available.

    It's not anywhere near as good as the 36...

    It's not anywhere near as good as the 360 version, or the PC for that matter. Tbh, the very best way to play this is on the series s, or x. Which runs at a blazing 60 fps, this thing barely breaks 30. Framerate is very choppy, and the collision detection is even worse. But if you only have access to a PS3, the this is a good option.

    What an amazing and enjoyable game! Very challenging on hardest setting. It is a lot of fun for any age on the easy difficulty setting. I can play this game with my 4 year old, my 6 year old and my husband. My 6 year old plays it against his 70 year old grandma and everyone is having a great time!
