    quality of signal

    When choosing a booster one needs to be careful in quality. I thought the 7777 may produce the best signal, but wrong. It would bring in weak signals, however your good signals get over powered and black out. I then choose the 7778 and it works fine. More power is not necessary good unless you have "all" weak signals.....I think now that Channel Master is coming out with an adjustable unit, which makes sense. I also had to put my unit on a power strip to turn off during storms. Lost one of the 7778's because of storms.

    A Good Amplifier!

    The Amplifier is constructed of good heavy duty high quality components. When matched with a good antenna, it will bring in the weak channels that you can only get with an amplifier. I live in a fringe area where the closest channels are 30 miles away. With a small reflector type antenna mounted 35ft high, and the Channel Master CM7777, I receive all the available channels within a 100 mile radius!

    over rated.

    didnt add a single channel. Made one of the fringe channels a bit bettter but thats it. Sure not worth the money or as good as they claim.
