A simple build with a low piece count, but with well-chosen pieces.
It's a nice little Lego set, with a lot of different animals and figures. It's mostly aimed at the 4-6 age range, and the simple build style (and has the special, easy-to-follow instructions that very clearly show the pieces you need for the next step on the opposite page). The barn has built-in holders for all the little accessories like the pitchfork, broom, and shovel, which might help a little to keep the whole set together. The build itself is mostly very simple - perhaps a little too simple for the adult Lego fan. The tractor and its trailer in particular is light on piece count. The design of the trailer as built in the instructions makes it a little hard to turn on tabletops or hard floors, but this can be fixed with no extra pieces by moving the trailer axles closer together. On the opposite end of the complexity scale in this set is the cow brush. Very young first-time builders might have trouble with the small Lego Technic elements contained here. But when it's assembled, it's a very fun piece with a unique texture! The rooftop winch is easy to put together, but the chain isn't quite long enough to lower the "haybale" to the ground, though it will reach the tractor's bucket or wagon. The barn is a neat build, with doors that open and close well, an upper floor that can be easily removed to grant access to the lower floor, and a roof that hinges to allow for play in the hayloft. The real stars of this set are the animals and figures. Included are 4 Minifigures (Three adults and a child - note that the child figure has the static non-posable legs), a pig and two piglets, a sheep (complete with removable wool), a lamb, a cow (with a movable head and detachable horns), a calf, a grey squirrel, and a plain yellow butterfly. One major point in favour of this set is that all the decorations are pad-printed. This eliminates the need to fumble around with stickers, and it's good in the long-term, as you can wash and clean the bricks without fear of damaging or removing the stickers. The major point against this set is its relatively low piece count for its price. But keep in mind that a lot of the bricks you're getting are large, complex, or specialized bricks.
