Yankee Candles are incredible.
When the candle arrived, it had travelled in hot vehicles so the wax had melted down to one side. I took it and set it in water which I placed on the stove to gradually heat. The wax moved back to it's original position but I did have to add a new wick. Still not sure where the original is but I placed a new one easy enough. Of course the scent from the candle is second to none. Why did Yankee Candle discontinue this scent? They have made a marketing mistake. Beautiful scentless candles
Based on reviews, I purchased two of the Christmas Wreath candles in the large jar size. I was very disappointed to find that both candles had next to no scent. I burned both large candles simultaneously for hours in my bedroom, but was unable to smell the "Christmas tree" scent I was hoping for. The candles are discontinued, so maybe the aged fragrance oils have evaporated. The candle itself is a beautiful green color and the glass jar is heavy, thick glass with a substantial lid that seals on top. When you're finished burning the candle, the decirative glass jar can be used to store all sorts of small items. Yankee is famous for their iconic jar candles that will burn up to 150 hours if properly maintained.Based on reviews, I purchased two of the Christmas Wreath candles in the large jar size. Nice aroma - not overbearing.
This is the second Yankee Candle I've ever purchased and I a very pleased with y selection. This candle smells of balsam and other evergreens, filling your house with the smell of "Christmas" but not perfume, unlike many other candles. Great green color. Looks lovely with a glass shade.
