    Much Ado About Nothing

    To reference a play by William Shakespeare, Seinfeld and company have elevated comedy to a whole other level by creating an entire sitcom concept about the ordinary life of people doing nothing special. For some reason it works. On paper you wouldn't think it could be this funny, but the writing is sharp and extremely humorous, along with characters you come to know and love. It is enjoyable to watch them get out of one predicament after another, due to their absurd reactions to people and events. By the 4th season the writers have hit their stride, both with the script and character development, i.e., Kramer's insane entrances to Jerry's apartment, George's total lack of ambition and purpose except for how to live his life free from actual work/responsibilities, Elaine's crazy ...
