Excellent model
I have not had much experience with Marklin products, so I was surprised at the quality of their products; so much better than U.S. made stuff. You got to hand it to the Germans for making good products. I don't know about the current trains though as they may be made in China.

Superb Diesel Locomotive- catalog # 3021, 3921 kit & 3009 Primex model.
This wonderful 8-wheel locomotive was available from 1957 to 1979 in a variety of running numbers, as well as in kit form from 1959 to 1970. It is quite robust & heavy, as the body shell is die-cast metal. I own 5 different versions, including a "2 headlight" first edition model & the Primex (less detailed) model. All are great runners & have superior pulling & hill climbing power. Highly recommended- No Marklin collection or layout should be without at least one of these V200s!
